Electrical Shock can cause serious injury or death. · Power cord must be unplugged before attaching any wires, · Be sure wire ends do not touch each other or other terminals. If you have questions or if you need a manual, contact the distributor or manufacturer of the operator. ****************************************************************************************************************************** INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADDITIONAL TRANSMITTERS Your garage door opener, transmitter, and this new transmitter must all be set to the same code to work. NOTE: If your opener has 9 code switches instead of 12 as shown this replacement transmitter will not work with your system. Your code block with dip switches can be found where you see the antenna wire hanging from the motor head (you may have to take the lens cover off). If antenna wire is not hanging from motor head then you have an external receiver which is a black box approx. 6" x 2" mounted somewhere in the garage with a antenna wire hanging from it (pop off cover to find code block with dip switches). FREQUENCY NUMBERThe frequency number is on a label on the back of your transmitter. This 3 digit number is also found on your opener power unit or separate receiver. If these numbers do not match, the new transmitter will not open the door. SETTING THE CODE ON YOUR NEW TRANSMITTERYour new transmitter is shipped with all 12 code switches set “ON”. Locate the code switches on your existing transmitter or on the operator. Your new transmitter must be set to the same switch pattern to work.
NOTE: If your original unit includes “one time” punch out keys instead of switches, set the switches of the new transmitter to “off” position to match the keys that have been punched.
LOST OR STOLEN TRANSMITTERS: If your transmitter has been lost or stolen, it is recommended that you change the code setting on all transmitters and receivers for security. TRANSMITTER OPERATION:
VISOR CLIP ATTACHMENT: Attach visor clip to remote control.
